[ZendTo] [Improvement Proposal for Short not to Recipients Field]

Hi all,

today a user complained, that he added a lot of text into the "short 
note to the Recipient" field. Of course, he ignored the word "short" and 
so it got cut off.

Is there a way to implement a kind of character counter for this field 
and don't accept more input after the limit has been reached?
This would be large improvement for the end-user in my opinion.

Is the amount of data that is allowed configurable somewhere or is a 
change of some php files needed?
