To top it of, you can beautify  default Apache WebDAV indices by using:

Indices <http://antisleep.com/indices/>

or

Indices v2 <https://github.com/NSError/Apache-Indices>

With those scripts, you can customise the directory listings with a 
logo, a per-directory readme file (for instance instructions), etc.
