Automatically? This is configured in SendTo's central preference.php file
(on Ubuntu ours is in /opt/zendto/config/preferences.php)

Look in there for a setting called 'numberOfDaysToRetain'.

Whilst you're in there you may also want to check you have the right IP
address netblocks configured for your IP address range; look for
'localIPSubnets'. Connections from these IP addresses get encouraged to
login to the service, and so enable dropping off files for external
recipients.
