A checkbox that would control whether or not the password was sent in the email might assist with both users that do want ease of use over security, and others that want security over ease of use. This option would be the best of both worlds.

I must say that this tool is extremely helpful and I'm very grateful for the use of it. Thanks!

Agreed. You could put the Passcode in a separate email to them perhaps?

How you get the Claim ID and Passcode to the recipients is up to you. If the download links were password protected, you would still have to get the password to them. The drop-off Passcode is a "one time only" or "single shot" password which works for only that drop-off, so is an alternative to having a password per recipient instead (which they may write down or set to the same as other passwords for ease of memory).
