Thanks Jules,

I actually backed up my zendto.conf and preferences.php file, took a
snapshot of my VM and installed the deb file using "dpkg --install
zendto_4.08-4.deb". After that I reapplied the settings in my
preferences.php file so that matched what I had before the install. I'm
curious...is what I did a no no. Should I have done this via apt-get
update instead. I guess I was just too hasty and wanted to get working
on this thing this morning.

Everything seems to be working as expected though so I am assuming my
setup is just fine as-is now (I hope).

As root, do
     apt-get update
     apt-get upgrade zendto

Then just check your /opt/zendto/config/* files. Probably worth taking a
copy of them both before you start, as I still don't understand quite
how apt handles modified config files.

Jules.
