<div>Can't really add anything to this except I built a new box about 3wks ago, and the request dropoff feature seems to work for me. </div>

<div>I tried testing with SMTPDebug in preferences.php, but that ONLY works with the “Resend Request” button when you are looking at the details of the request (per the comments in preferences.php you can only test with the “Resend Request” button). However,
when I do this test it shows the complete conversation with the mailserver, as it should.</div>

<div>Strange, right? They never hit my mail server and as I said, they don’t show in the system log. You get the resulting page with the drop off codes so it looks like it sends and the request shows in All Drop-offs but no email ever goes out.</div>

<div> We can drop off files just fine but if we send a request for a drop off the email never gets sent and nothing other than the user authentication (of the person logging in to send the request) shows up in the system log.</div>
