In which case it was most likely an SELinux attribute problem.<br>

If you moved, copied or replaced files in either /var/zendto or
/opt/zendto, you would have ended up with the wrong SELinux
attributes on the versions it was trying to use.<br>

You can restore the attributes at any time with<br>
<b><tt>restorecon -vFR /var/zendto /opt/zendto</tt></b><br>
<br>
The "-v" makes it tell you about any changes it made.<br>
The "-F" makes it do *everything*.<br>
The "-R" makes it work recursively.<br>

I've just tried to reproduce this, and am not managing to do
so.<br>
<br>
I've got a minimal 18.04.1 LTS server install.<br>
I boot it, "sudo su -", download <a
href="https://zend.to/files/install.ZendTo.tgz"
moz-do-not-send="true">
https://zend.to/files/install.ZendTo.tgz</a> and run the
installer.<br>
The only things I change from the defaults are the SMTP
server name and SMTP username+password.<br>
Otherwise everything is default.<br>
Then reboot.<br>
Then create 1 local user.<br>
Then point a web browser at it, login and drop off a 4.5GB
file (happens to be a Windows iso).<br>
<br>
It works fine.<br>
<br>
I haven't made any changes to preferences.php or zendto.conf
or internaldomains.conf at all. Totally untouched once the
Installer had finished.<br>
<br>
What am I doing differently from you folks?<br>
<br>
I have even done an "apt update; apt upgrade; reboot" after
that to see if that breaks anything, and no, everything
still works.<br>
