[ZendTo] errors but drop-off succeeded

Sometimes users get a pop-up with:

Sorry, I failed to drop-off your files!
Note that you cannot drop-of directories, only files.

But in the log everything seems fine and the drop-off is created.  Any idea
what might be going on or how to debug it?
