[ZendTo] 4.99-9 beta released

Hi !

I think it depends on the database used.

If you use SQLite, then you have to dump the database and import the dump on the new database created in the new one.
If you use MySQL, you just need to configure your new preferences.php with your MySQL database. Personnaly, I found this solution more flexible when time to upgrade is coming ;)

The drop-offs are in /var/zendto/drop-offs, and you need to copy all the directories.

I think that it should work, but Jules can surely give more infos on that quick 'how-to'.

Stéphane

Hi all,
also thanks for the new version.
Regarding the question of Denis - could you also provide a howto for migrating users and passwords from an old installation to a new machine running the new version?

Regards
Christian

Question is : how is it possible (if it is possible ..) to keep the old version (only to allow access the previously dropped files), and start new drops (and access to the them, of course ...) on the new server ? Or (probably easier) is it possible to export/import current (not expired) drops into the news server ?
