Assuming you aren't using a filesystem that has 4gb limits (FAT32 for
example), have you checked your php configuration to ensure that the
upload_tmp_dir setting is to a directory/folder capable of taking files
greater than 4GB? (i.e. You're not pointing it at /tmp which may be shared
space with your swap space)
