[ZendTo] help

Hi

I have been asked by a colleague whether there is an API to the Zend.to service that he can use to automatically direct emails from one of our University finance systems out to certain parties?

Has anyone else had trouble with excessively long email addresses being dropped from zendto?  We're noticing the email notification is not sent out if the email address is over a certain number of characters.

Thanks for any advice anyone might have.
