Sorry, not sure what you've done there. Once you've started the sendmail
service, do this
sendmail -bv ebritt at cshlaw.com
and that should tell you how it delivers mail to that address.
Also check your /etc/mail/sendmail.cf for the setting "inet_interfaces".
