I did notice however that the zendto package could not be authenticated.
The warning I received is below.  Any particular reason why? I went
ahead anyway and selected Yes.

Running *apt-get upgrade will upgrade what is in your current cache, not
what is available. You need to run apt-get update first to update your
cache, the upgrade.
