Thanks, Jules.  I'll have to dig alittle deeper.  PHP is sending mail, everything is going thru our gateways, etc.  Its something in Zend.To.  All of the templates are there, now I just need to figure out which file is actually sending the mail so I can see if something's funny in there.

During the upgrade I did have to migrate to new preferences.php and zendto.conf files as there were some differences in settings.  I'm guessing that's where my problem is, but I don't for sure, or how to tell yet.

The authenticator should not make any difference. Even if it is producing duff email addresses for some reason, something should still appear in the mail log.

Mail is not sent with the mailx command, ZendTo uses PHP's internal email sending function.
