Here is a screenshot of the error you mentioned during the file transfer. The error appeared for me during a file upload after updating to v4.02 and it took abit to capture the screenshot. I have not spent any time attempting to debug this issue.

FYI: The Fatal Error below can be suppressed by setting the 'useRealProgressBar' to FALSE in preferences.php.

OK, I've had time to start again from scratch.

So far so good! Seems impressive!

Managed to get authentication against Active Directory to work.

Had to modify php.ini to include timezone settings to avoid strftime warnings all over the place

Can't get clamdscan to behave - just displays the user an error but nothing is written to the clam or the zendto logs

Everything seems to work, but during file transfer, the following error flashes onto the user's screen and gets put in the apache log

[Tue Jun 14 17:25:15 2011] [error] [client 137.108.174.43] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function apc_fetch() in /opt/zendto/www/get_progress.php on line 7, referer: http://zendto.open.ac.uk/progress.php?progress_id=4df788dcf18a8

Any idea on how to fix the clamdscan and apc_fetch issues above?

Also, I'm confused about "my zendto" - it sounds like functionality I like. But the website is a bit unclear, is it that I can have zendto functionality OR myzendto functionality but not both in the same installation?

I've downloaded the RPM of this and installed it (after realising that
it needed clamav installing and configuring) by trying to follow the
instructions at

http://zend.to/yum.php (for RedHat 6)
and then
http://zend.to/documentation.php

However several PHP notices are displayed on the page (which can be
turned off by altering php.ini but the instructions say display errors
should be on).

I saw similar during my install this week. I suggest double checking the
changes made to your php.ini file. If cannot resolve then remove zendto
rpm and start the install again with an original version of the php.ini,
updating it as per the procedure.
