[ZendTo] Re: Progress bars - APC installation error

I just asked because with CentOS we have to update all those PHP
components to apply the new progress bar. So I figured it opens the door
for something possibly being different.

I honestly had no idea how or what generates the progress bar. Was just
looking for any differences. I can't understand why I can get progress
bar activity on the screen on everything but IE at this point.

Does anyone else on the list that is using the CentOS build currently
have the new progress bar applied?

If so can you confirm if with IE 7 and above you get the percentage
count when uploading a file?

I am also going to try IE 9 beta next.

Thanks!

Brian

I went back and re-applied everything again and double checked
everything.

The browsers I can get to display the progress properly with
uploads in zendto or myzendto is Firefox, Chrome, and now Opera 11 seems
to work.

IE 6, 7 or 8 does not display the status bar for me, I tested
from multiple IE 7 & 8 installs on other PC's in our enviornment and
outside.

So at this point I have test IE 6, IE7 and IE8 on different
PC's. (I don't expect IE 6 to work, just used it for testing)

When you said you verified this worked with IE 7 was that
against a Ubuntu build or CentOS?

Ubuntu. IE9beta displays it for me too, against an Ubuntu installation.
But the installation shouldn't make any difference as it's the same HTML
being displayed, shouldn't it?

Oh, OK thanks then maybe it is just my install. I will try going
through the steps again.

In IE7, it updated fine but just didn't quite render correctly
(a visible border around the IFRAME).

updating with browsers like IE 7 and Opera?

Please do remember that this is just a temporary
addition for you, while my friend starts to design the new look for the
UI. He will test that properly, and is far better at writing HTML and
CSS than I am!

Thanks, the setting works if I set that. (It is
1 less then whatever is set in the PHP.ini but that is easy to work
around)

Sorry, The problem seems to always appear with
IE7. (myzendto or zendto)

With Firefox it displays fine with myzendto or
zendto.

				Thanks

I just downloaded the updated tgz and
extracted over my previous version that I had updated to work with your
last progress bar update.

The attachment limit works now. Stops at
19. You mention using 5, is that configurable somewhere now? Our
documentation for users was written to say there was a 20 limit. Was
curious if I can change it from 19 to 20 somewhere.

There is a setting in your php.ini file called
"max_file_uploads". Set that to the value you want.

I found an issue with the progress bar
and what browser I use though.

				IE 7:

The progress bar looks big and it never
shows progress during the upload. When I set apache back to zendto and
the preferences to use zendto, the progress bar does the same.

Are you saying the problem only appears in
MyZendTo with IE7, or it always appears with IE7?
