I just downloaded the ZendTo version 4.03-3 64-bit CentOS Virtual Machine ( http://zend.to/files/ZendTo-CentOS-x86-4.03-3.zip ) and imported it into vmware esxi server.
I migrated over the needed settings for the preferences files and I get the same error from two different machines, two different browsers (IE and firefox) and one of the machines is on the same network as the zendto system so it's not a firewall issue.
thanks

As the error indicates, an external (non-local) user can ONLY drop off files for internal users. It sounds like your external user is specifying another external email address as the recipient. Double check that the recipient is in fact a local user.

Subject: [ZendTo] Zendto Uploads as a non-local user. 4.02/4.03
I'm having upload issues when uploading files as a NON local user using both IE and Firefox.
Zendto 4.03 ( updated today). The problem also existed in 4.02 / Centos 64 from the vm image.
Process:
On the Zendto login page, select the Drop-off link.
Enter your external email address and have zendto send you a web link in your external email address.
Wait for the email, Open the email and select the weblink,
Add the recipients name and add a file to upload.
Upload the file and you get the error below.
<error snip>
Upload Error You must be logged in as an AAFP user in order to drop-off a file for a non-AAFP user.
Return to the ZendTo main menu to log in and then try again.
</error snip>
The error does not appear if you login a authorized user
Zendto /preferences is using the LDAP authenticator.
The log files
Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue?
thanks in advance.
