No, it's not possible to delete it immediately after it has been picked 
up as the PHP app gets told when the download *starts*, not when it has 
successfully completed. If the transfer died half way through due to 
some intervening network problem, it would leave you unable to start the 
download again, which would be A Very Bad Thing(tm).
